International Contemporary Ensemble Announces New Board Member and Business and Finance Manager

The International Modern day Ensemble welcomes Chiwoniso Kaitano to its Board of Directors. Chiwoniso is Govt Director of Lady Be Read, a world-wide NGO that advocates for social transform by performing arts and storytelling. Beforehand, she served as Executive Director of Ifetayo Cultural Arts Academy, a 30 calendar year old Brooklyn-centered arts and society corporation. Chiwoniso has extensive been concerned in the arts scene including founding the prolonged-standing literary sequence TheSALON, and co-founding Africa Redux, a system that promotes the art, tradition and new music of Africa.

Chiwoniso “Chi” Kaitano retains a law degree from the London School of Economics and a Masters in Global Affairs from Columbia University’s Faculty for Global and Community Affairs. She also serves on the Board of Administrators of two New York City-dependent nonprofits, the Brooklyn Conservatory of Tunes and The Center for Fiction. The Ensemble has also hired a new Small business and Finance Manager, Keisha Husain. Keisha Husain is a wife, mom and self proclaimed “figures nerd” from Brooklyn, NY. She has invested the majority of her vocation in administration inside the nonprofit sector performing for businesses together with The Shubert Group, Kingsborough Neighborhood University Performing Arts Centre (KPAC), and Concertante Chamber Ensemble. She gained her BA and MBA from Marist University and currently resides with her family in Queens, NY.
